VoteInsta is not a lottery, raffle, sweepstakes or betting service
VoteInsta is a digital contest and voting technology platform. We provide the infrastructure through which supporters pay to vote for a contestant of their choice, and through which organizers tally and publish results. Nothing on the platform is a game of chance, a prize draw, a wager, or an offer of winnings from betting. A payment on VoteInsta buys votes for a contestant — it is not a stake, a ticket, or an entry into any draw, and paying does not give the payer any chance of winning anything.
Organizers run the contest; VoteInsta runs the voting
Every contest on the platform is created, owned and operated by its organizer. The organizer decides the contest rules, the contestants, the judging, any prizes and their delivery, and is responsible for the lawfulness and honesty of their contest. VoteInsta's role is separate and limited to: providing secure voting infrastructure, verifying payments, tallying votes in real time, and settling contest revenue into the organizer's wallet.
VoteInsta does not organize contests, select winners, award prizes, or endorse any organizer's event. A contest appearing on VoteInsta does not mean VoteInsta sponsors, approves or guarantees it.
Vote finality
A vote is recorded once its payment is verified. Recorded votes are final: successful payments are not reversible because a contestant's standing changed, a contest ended, or a voter changed their mind. The certified tally and audit trail produced by the platform at the close of voting is the record of the result.
Payment processing through Paystack
All payments on VoteInsta are processed by Paystack, our licensed payment gateway. VoteInsta does not store raw card data. Refunds, chargebacks and card disputes are subject to Paystack's own processes; where a payment fails or is charged back, the associated votes do not stand. VoteInsta is not a bank, and wallet balances represent entitlement to contest settlement only.
No guarantee of winning
Contest outcomes are decided entirely by verified votes (and, where an organizer uses them, the organizer's own judging rules). VoteInsta does not promise any contestant a particular position, prize or outcome, and is not party to prize arrangements between organizers and contestants.
